Also, I remember when I suggested that your shakytar could benefit from googly eyes. I still stand by this statement.

Of the following I need a WR2 and a Flex. ESPN Std 0PPR: WR Nelson Agholor @ Atl WR Stevie Johnson vs DET WR Amari Cooper vs Cin RB Tevin Coleman vs Phi WR Kendall Wright @TB I feel like a little crazy for sitting Amari Cooper for Agholor and Johnson, but the Chargers utilized the slot a TON last year and Johnson will likely benefit from Gates & Ladarius Green out, and then Agholor is in a Chip Kelly offense vs. a terrible. I think Evans and Smith is the smart money because even an "decoy' Evans is probably just as effective as White and I probably wouldn't play Yeldon vs. Carolina in his first career start.jlim posted:Anyone want to help me pick my flex? This one's tough, I think Ivory has the highest floor, and Murray the highest ceiling, with Brown getting a bump into somewhere between the two because of full PPR. My gut says Ivory, but any three could yield some good results. Are you already down/up from Thursday? If you're already up and just need guaranteed points, I'd go Ivory; if you're down big, I'd give some thought to Murray/Brown.

Metapod posted:Since evans might be decoy this week should i start watkins over him? Ehh, I'd probably still go Evans. Watkins has Tyrod Taylor, Vontae Davis, and Rex Ryan working against him. Evans is his team's first option, Tennessee is not at all a scary defense, and yeah Jameis is a shaky rookie but I'd still rather have him feeding my fantasy WRs than Taylor. Apparently Evans "felt fine" after Friday's practice, so I'd plan on starting him even if he's questionable.

1PPR I currently have R.White in for T.Yeldon. I figure the potent run defense of Carolina will prevent Yeldon from getting the end zone. This decision is complicated by the fact that I also have A.Robinson starting. So I think I should roll with R.White instead of Yeldon. Good move?

Dandy Kaiser posted:I think Stewart has a better chance of getting into the endzone, but Cooks could have a huge game and even in 0PPR, I think he's a weekly starter. I think it's close, but Arizona is a decent defense too. And standard vs. 1 PPR makes such a huge huge difference, especially for someone like Cooks. Cooks could go for 1300 yards and if he only scores a handful of touchdowns (let's say 4), he'll be outperformed by a lot of real life starting RBs. JStew could put up 1000 total yards and if he gets 9 TDs, he'll outscore that hypothetical Cooks on the year. This week, I just don't see who else is getting a TD on the Panthers besides Stewart (e: Olsen I guess, and maybe Newton running one in ). If he can go at least 60 yards and a TD, he's overwhelmingly likely to outscore Cooks against Arizona, yeah? FWIW, Fantasy Pros in standard scoring has 90% of experts preferring JStew to Cooks, in half PPR it's a toss up with 56% in favor of Cooks, and full PPR it's 98% in favor of Cooks. I think in standard, you have to go with the RB1 against a weak run defense over the target machine who is unlikely to find the endzone. sourdough fucked around with this message at 20:08 on Sep 12, 2015 |

Maybe I'm just gunshy because I do not trust Stewart and I seem to recall rumblings that Cam was going to run more this season and if he will, then I'm going to consider him Carolina's goalline back until further notice. I do think that the TD chance matters more in standard, I guess I just have a personal bias toward Stewart. I could see him scoring anywhere from 5.5-20 points while Cooks is probably going to get at least 8-11. e: I would be willing to bet that if Cooks does manage to find his way into the endzone, that he would definitely outscore Stewart. I dunno, neither is particularly appealing, but I'd probably lean Jackson. Cam has wheels which could be a factor but he doesn't seem to have any targets. My first time playing fantasy ever (standard 12 person Yahoo league) and I did a real stupid thing by drafting Newton and then getting Bridgewater who I learned today has the same bye week as Newton. I think I'm screwed as Bortles is the only available QB right now. I guess I'll wait a while and see if someone becomes available in the next few weeks? Learning a lot but making rookie mistakes. The big other one was dropping Fred Jackson when the Bills cut him, not realizing I still owned him even though he was cut.
