let me think uh

first up there's the fella getting wheeled from north to southeast in a 4x4, dunno if he's bound to leave the map but he's pretty easy to nab if you don't stray too far from the supply depot

two are actually held hostage, one in the bowels of wakh sind and the other is in one of the cells behind the ruined palace

like you can figure, there's three escapees. one is in the desert near the palace, southeast from checkpoint 12 and another is hiding on a river bank, follow the river as far west as you can on foot

then there's the time-critical one. he's being chased by four dudes through the mountain pass east from the palace. these are the ones the bonus objective refers to, they're marked on your map once you rescue the first guy or interrogate a guard or something like that. they'll eventually find and kill him if you don't save his rear end in time, I think you have something like 10-12 minutes to do so. if you knock out all vehicles as fast as you can and ride south as soon as the soviet gently caress-you-unit appears without bothering to tangle with the chopper, I think you'll just make it

where you are right now, that's about it. it's also a good source of faction rep

after the ttk campaign you get a) a shitton of quests that are done in patrol mode b) a fifth patrol area with stuff to do in it that isn't resource farming

only problem with fultoning everyone is if the game keeps serving up troublemakers, especially if they end up overwhelmingly being in one or two specific groups so they keep putting your dudes in the medbay because theyre disgusting goons

from the grey destiny OP

quote:

I found a golden chest. What are they?

Each big overworld map area has 5 golden chests hidden throughout it. Unlike the normal loot chests, these are always in the same spot. If you find all of these in an area you not only get the loot from each one, you also get another bonus on top of that. For example if you find all 5 in Old Russia you get a free upgraded Sparrow (speed bike).

QIG, TTK starts at 25 or so

Golden Chests are hidden on every planet, there is 5 total, they have some decent loot for low levels in em and a emblem on the moon (the Jade Rabbit)

NEW Xur came out today

now I look like the rabbit from Donnie Darko (altho this is a stag helmet)

gimme a sec, i put together a route it earlier

cybernetics man is the one prisoner who will be killed if you don't extract him early enough.

ayn rand hand job posted:

you need to disable 1 tank

i did it this morning and it's fairly straight forward (though time is really tight, <2 min to spare)

basically the consistent path it to start out near the palace, head for the barracks, towards the supply outpost, and then back to the palace

equip a rocket launcher take d dog or d horse as the buddy (I prefer d dog because it'll help you spot two or three of the prisoners)

insert yourself to the east of the palace

run west and shoot the tank 300m outside the palace to get the primary mission done

only blow up 1 tank

run to the canyon directly east

there will be a prisoner close to the insertion point, grab them during this movement

when you get to the canyon, a patrol of 4 guards will be looking for a prisoner, disable them, fulton then for another objective, and run through to the canyon, saving the prisoner they were chasing

run north when you can to get to the barracks

around this point (5 minutes elapsed), the soviets will start moving prisoner to save #4 from north of the supply outpost to the barracks. however blowing up 2 tanks will cause this call prematurely

infiltrate the barracks via the cracked walls on the western edge. go to the basement where the bionic dude was in an earlier mission. extract the third prisoner via the hole in the ceiling and then get out f the barracks

head west and you'll probably hit prisoner 4's truck soon. they take the road that runs north of the checkpoint bypassing it.

drop into the river and run all the way west prisoner 5 will be hiding at the end of the dead end

the final prisoner is in one of the cells to the outside of the palace

infiltrate the camp, pick a lock, and fulton him or stick him in the helicopter as time expires and the mission ends
