Maybe I need to up my confidence game. When I have a position on something, and practically everybody else in the world who has access to the same information I do tells me I'm wrong, I start to think, "I might be wrong about this." I guess I'm just weak. Also, lol at, "she had a hard time living with [the evidence]," rather than, "she had a hard time living with my insane obsession."

I feel for the guy who's trutherism comes from losing his son, but that doesn't excuse him from going into denial and throwing himself into self deluded truthers. Thing is if the government did do a second 9/11 investigation, it still wouldn't be good enough, because the Truthers have these fictions in their heads and anything short of their own personal theories would be lies.

I love that because the Truther movement for some reason has been claiming Chomsky is one of them, and they constantly go on about how reading his books made them awake and see the Truth of 9/11. No, just because he is a critic of US policy in every way, does not mean he also accepts the crazy pants on head reality rejecting crazy talk you guys are spouting.

There is probably a false flag conspiracy being run by some government agency. It would be cheap, a couple of agents and an internet connection and your good to go. Every time something bad happens they come out and push the false flag theory. At first it's all them through sock puppets but pretty soon the community picks it up and it becomes self sustaining. The goal is simple, an easy psychological control on groups that would be inspired to action by a lone actor. Can't have a revolution or a rahowa if everybody thinks that the call to action is a government fake.

It's a classic conspiracy theorist thing to do. Take something real that is generally accepted by any half well informed person as evidence for their absurd beliefs. Governments collect data and spy on everyone they can so of course Bigfoot shot JFK. Like for the past 7 years, 4chan has had a board called /r9k/ which was created because the rest of the site is full of straight up reposts. The "robot" of "robot 9000" is a script that works to detect if anything posted is a repost, and if it is, to delete it upon posting and place progressively increasing bans on the poster as punishment. The idea that reposts only became a problem in the past 2 years is to basically say you were too stupid to notice them.
