T-man fears emotion

A bad dad.

To reiterate:

Coyote's laughing because Annie's been damaged to hell and back by a guy who never shows any emotion, let alone anger.

That's a pretty big stretch. They didn't even withhold Annie, they brought her out as soon as he asked for her and then Coyote got pissed because she cut her hair.

If we drove the Russian ambassador into a breakdown so bad he started self-harming, it would probably be considered some kind of diplomatic faux pas.

I don't think that's quite what happened. Even though the Court is using Tony to enforce authority on Annie, it's still his choice to keep her grounded.

I'm loving that the court's BIG PLAN to tame Annie was to call her dad.

They were too big of wusses to handle a teenaged girl on their own.

Like what? Giving her detentions and poo poo? Didn't worked, she clearly not care about it. After that, the choice is either to crank up sanctions, like expulsing her, or bring in authority she actually listen to. Don't see what make them wusses.
Hell, it actually make them semi reasonnable here, instead of not acting like wusses and stomping her to the curb like they could.

Malpais Legate

The court is the size of a city with the authority over all of it. I'm pretty sure they could come up with some middle ground between "detention" and "expulsion" to tame an unruly teenaged girl who thinks she owns the place.

May the surprisingly large number of posters ITT who literally can't imagine what educators can do with unruly kids other than expel them, bring in their parents to yell at them, or otherwise "stomp [them] to the curb" never be allowed to take a position of any kind anywhere near any kind of school.

As has been brought up previously in this very thread, there are a ton of things the Court could have done to rein Annie in. Using Tony to do it kills two birds with one stone; it gets Tony back to the Court, and reins in Annie in a way that they don't have to really even do anything.

Basically. He smells that he hasn't had any real contact to anyone but her. It's like the oposite of how Parley and Andrew smell alike.

It very much depends on what he considers everyone on their side to be. Buildings don't count since they aren't people. Maybe Annie doesn't count because she's the forest medium and at least in part a fire elemental, so he might consider her one of his rather than a member of the court.

Watch Cuyote fix Annie and Tony's relationship for a laugh :v:

I don't think Cuyote really cares about Annie beyond the selfish goal of laughing. As soon as she stops making him laugh he'll get angry, and she's not making anyone laugh in her current state. If she visits the forest as is I think she's going to royally piss off Ysengrin.
