Because they've publicly expressed their disappointment in the Greens for pursuing a private agenda over the flag rather than blindly endorsing Labour's position, thus demonstrating to the "center" that they won't be a government beholden to Green policies despite the political reality that they can't hold power without being so?

If you experience positive emotions or affinity in the form of pride over an abstract concept of the broadest kinds of community afforded by being in the same wide geographical area as each other, or the same vague colour of skin as another, then you are loving awful. Feel some pride for things that are actually an achievement, not simply circumstances of birth.
