My wife worked at DirecTV back in college, and as long as you show up sober and don't be a complete dumbass with customers, you get crazy bonuses and incentives. She was frequently among the top-ranked representatives at their center, and it translated to literally hundreds of dollars a month in bonuses, plus gift certificates, kitchen appliances, and free DirecTV premium packages at home, not bad at all for a generic part time IT gig.
