06:30: I was wondering how the hell Night Sky Eagle (7k) was able to hurt Masergear (8k), but Kanzaki put David to the side after riding over it. Good to see the writers catching on to that poo poo.

07:25: Kanzaki is talking about how he couldn't awaken the Depend Card. I really hope the next thing he says is not about how maybe Chrono is the one who will be able to pull it off.

07:40: Chrono, you loving idiot, Kanzaki is explaining his reasoning and logic here. And you don't loving care? You tell him to shut up? This is why I hate this character. He's not interested in listening or understanding, he's just going NO U and smacking people with his plotcock.

07:45: Oh look I'm Nostrafuckingdamus, he rode the vanilla 10k, because he always gets exactly what he needs, because the writers stack his loving deck.

11:50: Mm, yes, Aurageyser time. Time to show some fuckers how WAIT WHAT Efnysien? Well, I guess if he's eating Dark Pride so he can pull out Dark Quartz, that makes sense. Still think he should've used Aurageyser, because Aurageyser is really good.

13:00: Oh look, Chrono had a perfect guard to shut down the Stride with an on-hit skill and a ton of power, what are the loving odds. (One hundred percent. The odds of Chrono having exactly the card he needed is one hundred percent.)

14:30: Okay, now we get Aurageyser. Which I think he should've used earlier because Aurageyser just gets you a shitload of cards, it's loving bonkers.

15:15: Did I fall into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure here or something?

16:40: Yeah yeah, don't celebrate too hard. A perfect guard is pretty much the only thing that's going to stop an attack like that, because you'd need to throw a shitload of guard at a 43k attack with triple drive behind it.

18:00: Welp, here comes Nextage.

18:20: ...or not. Why the hell did he use Faterider? Was it because the writers couldn't contrive a way for Kanzaki to get a clutch win if Chrono used Nextage?

19:00: NO gently caress YOU YOU DON'T GET TO INVOKE TAIYOU

20:00: Earlier I was thinking that what would happen is "Chrono uses Nextage, Kanzaki somehow shuts that down anyway (PG Nextage, use triggers and intercepts against Chronojet?), then Aurageyser Damned to win." Looks like I may have been partially right, at least about Aurageyser Damned.

20:30: GO GO KANZAKI CRUSH THIS SCRUB

20:45: Oh man, that line read. Dude is seriously belting this poo poo out now.

21:20: I have the strangest boner right now.

22:00: drat right he can't win, Taiyou. But don't look away. Witness the fate of those who deny the true nature of power!

24:00: What the gently caress is this? Kanzaki just Strode his loving trump card! How the poo poo are you assholes going to drag out Chrono lucksacking and plotarmoring his way into a turnaround victory?

So that's the episode. The fact that we're getting a cliffhanger is fine, but holy poo poo, why here? How the gently caress are they going to fill next week's episode? Chrono has six cards in hand and what I think are two intercepts, so as long as one of his cards is a PG, he'll be able to get by. Kanzaki is going to burn his own field to try and burn Chrono's, so we'll see how that shakes out. If he built his deck right, and the pieces are in place but who the gently caress knows what's going to happen since the writers are not exactly top shelf Vanguard players, then he can trivially mitigate the cost of Aurageyser Damned (yes, the subs said Doomed, but that's not a sub fuckup, that's a name change like how Genocide Jack became Brutal Jack). I guess we'll have to see what blatant contrivance Chrono pulls out of his rear end next week, and since it's obviously going to be a Kanzaki episode, that means you get two semi-liveblogs in a row! Aren't you lucky.
