While I do not think the Donald can win me over with these tax plans, if the rhetorical space becomes a zone between Sanders Thought (with Hillary perhaps catching up in a more modest way) and Donald Trump's "gently caress Those Guys" tax proposals, I think it will be an election we can feel good about. Domestically at least. Of course, this might cause a second Business Plot.

Whereas war/deportation would be well within his purview, especially with a Republican congress. Collecting and deporting tens of millions of people is logistically impossible even if he has a supermajority of congressional support unless he can get a few hundred thousand volunteers to join the Trumpstaffel. He'd have a better shot at bullying the GOP to back him on raising taxes on capital gains than he would of getting his immigration enforcement put in to effect without declaring nationwide martial law.

Uhhh you guys should probably wait until you read his tax plan before you start cheering it for being economically progressive. I am sure his tax plan will eliminate the carried interest loophole, which allows about 0.01% of rich people (active fund managers) to treat their income as capital gains income instead of normal income. At the same time I am sure his tax plan will lower the top tax rates on all rich people and/or remove some of the top brackets entirely - the new bracket put in place by Obama and the Democrats on income over about $450k/individual, for example, is basically guaranteed to be gone. All of this will be dressed up in the same "everyone gets a tax cut!" bullshit used by Bush, whereby your average middle class family will save $500/year while every rich rear end in a top hat who doesn't happen to be an active hedge fund manager (aka 99.9% of the rich) will end up saving hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars every year. Eliminating the carried interest loophole is A Good Thing, but if you think it won't be coupled with tax cuts for the rich that are thousands of times worse you're loving delusional.

You were using a thirty million figure before - even assuming this was feasible, that is about ten percent of the population of the United States. Even the more rational figure rooted in the noted pinko liberal rag of "reality and census figures" is eleven or twelve million. That's pretty "mass" and "forced" to me.
