In isolation they're just homeless garbage who need to get sober and get a job. Wait I thought marathons were good and constructive civic activities that generally contribute to exercise and usually some kind of nice charity? I mean, I get the "no such thing as bad publicity" thing but I think if anyone knows how wrong that is, it'd be the BLM folks.
