You aren't "technically" wrong in the aggravating pedantic way that fishmech is famous for - you're just dead wrong here. And when called on it, the only thing you're doing is doubling down on name calling and angry rhetoric, instead of supporting your claims. Step back, take a deep breath, and calm the gently caress down dude.

Soup du Jour posted:Dalael, maybe instead of melting down you could provide some better dates for the Democratic debates? I couldn't provide specific dates if that is what you are asking. But TV ratings strongly indicates that there are less people watching on a saturday than any other day. You can verify with Nelson ratings. And this may be pulling it straight out of my own rear end, but yeah.. 1 week before Christmas, I would say people are spending their time shopping more than anything else. I'm sure this can be corroborated pretty easily by actually looking at how packed every shopping malls are on that day. I can't give better dates because I am not an expert on the subject. But i know better than to believe that these dates are just super dandy.

Theory #3: Bevin (who is a personally odious human being) offended and antagonized Republican movers-and-shakers. Theory #4: The Louisiana gubernatorial race is looking more competitive than had been expected, due to Vitter's scandals, and this has made the RGA nervous.

The former could get him indicted, the latter have him hanging from a lamp post, people here are REALLY loving pissed about the roads

I had never realised just how much info there is on the subject and how much it has been argued. Some people attribute it to people wanting to see Palin, other to the debate between Obama and McCain. There's just so much info, and varying numbers its actually crazy. What I can tell you tho, is that Fox was apparently the most watched during those debates. CNN pulled record numbers and had a higher viewership than at anytime in its history and that apparently Nelson ratings do not count PBS which I have no idea how relevent it is. So okay, I'm going to admit defeat on that one. Is it an anomaly? Is it normal? I don't know.
