the first one had a pretty dumb storyline and some real bad mechanical ideas like making you pay for party members so youd be between missions and spend money on gear and upgrades and only after youve spent your money remember that you have to do this unusual thing and then be forced to sell everything back at 1/10 what you bought it for or go solo (hint dont go solo you will die) dragonfall didnt have that problem because you got a core group of dudes who were all characters like in a traditional rpg instead of faceless mercs that you gotta pay for also the story was a lot better
