It's getting hard to find reasonably priced conversion vans these days though, SUVs have made it tough to find one in good condition used, the market is so much smaller.

the only reasons anyone ever wanted conversion vans were captains seats and tv/vcr in the back

you can get both those things in minivans now because TVs don't take up 3 cubic feet

Basically anytime friends or family visit you end up having to use two cars for everything because the stupid suv + car seats leaves no room for a 5th or 6th person.

Also, minivans mean my kids don't slam their doors in to every car in the parking lot.

these things were like $25-40k brand new, but they're starting to get old enough to be total beaters
