Hecatia, Clownpiece, and Junko by extension are hitting it off a lot better than the DDC bosses did. I guess silly outfits really are the way to go. does anyone even remember raiko exists

The number of non-PC-98 characters must be approaching triple digits at this point, of course most new characters will fade into obscurity now. I doubt anyone's gonna care about Seiran and Ringo a couple months from now except for rare instances where they get paired up with Reisen.

DDC may not have had as much impact out of the gate but I think the fact that Seija got her own game and Shinmyoumaru appeared in ULiL helped. (And I've liked Raiko ever since her debut.)

Don't know if this has been brought up yet but apparently the new touhou magazine that's coming out is going to have a continuation of Curiosities of Lotus Asia in it. I wonder why Zun's going back to it after so long.

It's the first half of a story where he meets Sumireko. The second half will be published in the next issue in the spring.

For some reason I feel like his kid is going to rebel and be some kind of anti-ZUN, whatever that means. I'd be very surprised if he ends up into Touhou at all.

The more I think about it, ain't Zun's kid going to be surrounded by cosplayers? The good ones? That aren't fat and have T&A and decent costumes?

There's one Zun interview where he shows himself to be superprofessional about Touhou. Like he said he would never involve his wife (who is a programmer) with Touhou because he doesn't want to put her through a professional relationship. IDK, it may be a japanese thing that I don't understand but the way he sounded to me I doubt he'd intentionally put his kid into the touhou business.

Well, I think the context of that is that he wants to keep his work and his private life separate, in case one spills into the other (ie: a friendship soured because of work disagreement, or something). Either way, I'm 300% sure he's not taking his son to Comiket.
