I has all the ingredients of a Megadeth song, but it's like they used the low sodium low fat version of everything. So it's just a bland meal no one enjoys.

Fermented Piss posted:It's gonna take a while. No one is very excited about the lineup. In years past the 4 day passes would have sold it in hours. Yeah it's not like 2012 where I saw the lineup and wanted to kill myself because I couldn't go, but I've never been and I finally have the time + money to go and there's still a bunch of poo poo I want to see so I figure now's the time. I can go check off the grindcore/powerviolence resurgence bands they got that don't cross the Canadian border before their next inevitable explosion. Next Megadeth album announced, titled Dystopia. Supposed to be released January 22nd next year. The tracklist looks good and there's even a Fear cover and supposedly a Budgie cover. Can't wait.

I'm on my phone but google "malevolent creation racist" or "malevolent creation homophobia." We're used to European style fascism in the metal thread but MC are good old fashioned redneck dipshits

When we were recording the album Eternal we would look out the window and there were niggers sitting out there making drug deals. I always wanted to meet Brent Hinds because you get to play the roulette of talking to a) nicest goofiest guy in the entire world or b) reclusive caveman who won't even acknowledge your existence. Aside from the latter they seem like super silly cool dudes. I have a special connection to Mastodon because Leviathan severely challenged me back in my "early" metal days.

Probably had more to do with my friend whose house we were at smoking them out of their gourds though.

Klaaz posted:Maybe you like Maximum the Hormone. I know I do. I've loved those guys for years. What's funny is, I'd never seen them before and one time, I think it was last year, someone posted a video of theirs and I was just like "WHO IS THIS OMG" ...then realization hit and I was like "Oh poo poo it's the new MTH album". The video title and everything was in japanese so it took me a bit to figure it out, like at least the first 40 seconds. Honestly, at first I thought it was another band trying to sound like MTH and doing it pretty well.

Yeah, MTH owns a lot, some of their stuff is just absurdly heavy and weird, I love it.

I'm not proud of this admission but I was first introduced to MTH by the intro to the second season of Death Note

Did anyone like BTBAM's latest? I don't mind the lack of heaviness at all but it just seemed kind of boring and poorly written.
