Someone on /a/ has the DIO's World bluray (there is no to be continued like the Battle Tendency BD got). Here's a look at some of the art changes in comparison to the broadcast version that they posted. TV  BD  TV  BD  TV  BD  Some of the BD stuff is still wonky though.

I forgot to mention, but the DIO runs over wally/people on the side-walk scene is also the exact same as the broadcast on the bluray version. Some thought it may be in this version so that's your answer if you thought it might show up.

Hmm...on the fence about Avdol's voice. Avdol is my favorite character in Part 3 so I may be a bit critical though (due to my narcissism: my favorite color is red and Ziggy Starfucker is all into tarot and stuff and he says the card that best represents me is the Magician  ) This is the VA: http://voiceacting.wikia.com/wiki/Chris_Tergliafera Seems this is one of his first major roles.

He's not in those clips very much but what is there is largely your average voice acting. He just sounds American though, whereas Avdol lived in Egypt for most of his life and only really fled from DIO around 3 months prior to SDC. I'd try to have him sound more Middle Eastern (couldn't say what an Egyptian accent sounds like) but not full on stereotype accent for him.

I think you're right, I think it's the American-ness of it. Plenty of Egyptians speak English but they speak British English instead of North American English; if you were to go to Egypt and see a menu in English 9 times out of 10 it would say (for example) "saffron-flavoured" rather than "saffron-flavored." I almost feel like a weak RP accent wouldn't be out of place on Avdol. E: Aurain thanks for the pics! Blu-Ray Jojos lookin' gooood!

Yeah, received pronunciation might be the best for him but as a whole, RP English accents make me cringe heavily in most things. I can't get in Joseph's dub voice at all for it. They're not anime but I like it more in things like Xenoblade, Dragon Quest 8 or some other Level-5 video games where they go for English voice actors but from areas of the country that don't speak it because it feels so much more organic. Maybe I'd feel differently if I lived in an area of England where people actually did speak in accents resembling RP. E: Also, they're not my pictures, I'm taking them when they're posted on /a/ so it's not something to thank me for. Also, I'll stop it if Bad Seafood thinks it's a bit too filesharing or something. They've expanded the scene where Jotaro pours gasoline on DIO. He now has a brief scene where he looks for buckets and walks towards DIO. True enough, but even if you go to the likes of Northamptonshire or other more lower midlands-y areas, you get much closer to it hearing the likes of it there than you would say Sheffield, Leeds or Newcastle.
