It is hard to tell because there is almost no detail left over it but I think he just flipped one of the pics from the manufacturer's site.

Alternately Obama is personally piloting that done and will express his regret that the illegal immigrants left survivors.

Yup, this checks out.

Except it raises another important question: What the ever loving gently caress is a UAV doing flying around the middle of nowhere Texas? In the fantasy world of DbD is Zed just constantly monitored by Obummer?

It is a civilian drone though Muir may not know that. He probably saw a blog about militia groups that "guard" the border using drones.

Just more of the same persecution complex bullshit. Anyone remember the comic book starring Sean Hannity as a cybernetically enhanced underground journalist freedom fighter in ∅bama's peri-apocalyptic Amerikkka? I hope so because I have to talk to someone about some problems if it turns out I'm imagining things like this.

Because Liddy is a tough guy. Ask him, he'll tell you. They don't really care what he's done in the past, just that he's on the right side and he has the right hard-man facade that gets guys like Muir moist.

It is important to remember that Cuba was literally seconds away from giving up forever when suddenly Obama announced America's unconditional surrender and handover of all authority and power in the United States to Fidel Castro's personal control.

The lengths Liddy will go to in order to prove what a manly man he is are kinda psychotic. If they're true, then he'll burn himself with an open flame, and eat parasite-infested vermin meat to prove his machismo. If they're lies, then he's willing to spread lies that he would do those things just so others think he's the paragon of manliness.

Either way, that dude needs some help.

Well that's the idea, that he wouldn't change drone policy much if at all. I'm glad he clarified that, considering I was somewhat concerned he'd discontinue the practice altogether. So few changes to the Obama Administration policy, which is something I like?

The best drone policy would be to get a Secretary of Defense who works to restructure the air force with the goal of getting more officers who have drone experience. From what I've read about the experience of drone pilots, the fact that so few officers have a solid grip on what is and isn't effective use of drones can be a major stumbling block. Of course, doing this would come across as super pro-drone and probably be a turn-off to Bernie's core supporters.

Christ, so that comic was even before Obama and his socialist cabal took over the one bastion of liberty amidst the oppression of the New World Order? Back when the neocons literally controlled Washington? Either it was really clumsy leftist satire or the conservative persecution complex -- and bizarre hero worship -- runs so much deeper than I thought (which was pretty loving deep).

edit: :laffo:

quote:

Oliver North: Blinded by an explosion, is FOIL’s military strategist who will undergo some extremely dramatic changes in the next issues.

Sean Hannity: Terrorists failed in their attempt to assassinate him, but succeeded in strengthening his resolve to free America from the tyrannical heal [sic] of U.N. empowered liberalism. (Not equipped here with his B.T.A.- Bionic Transmission Arm, which turns him into a one man mobile studio). He is the public voice of FOIL.

Reagan McGee: Reagan (the son of a NYC firefighter born on 9/11) is about to leave his “Patriot”ic gang and fulfill his destiny as the youngest member of FOIL.

G. Gordon Liddy: Bio-genetically enhanced speed and reaction are almost a match for his “will” power. He is the groups liaison to the covert conservative underworld.

Marty: By far the toughest member of the group, he is a cross between American Bulldog and Junk-yard dog; but is a pure breed patriot.

Oscar: His entire family lost due to a terrorist bombing, has sworn to use his Bio mechanical genius to aid FOIL in the battle against liberal extremists suppression & U.N. domination.

When I first heard about Liberality, it was from a comic-reading friend delighted to tell m how it had enjoyed brief initial "mainstream" popularity from people thinking (reasonably imo) that it had to be satire, like the X-Presidents, or whatever Colbert's comic was called.

Interviews with the author soon put paid to that notion. I just wish he'd been clever enough to take a few more pages from Judge Dredd and have the (anti?) heroes of the comic be "liberal" as well. I don't see our country's left as an insane Thatcher-level nightmare, but it'd be a trip to see a good comic from that perspective.
