I think it was a Subaru Brat, but it doesn't matter because the image was a filthy lie, shattering my worldview into tiny pieces. e: No, google shows it is a 1200 pickup, the tiny pieces have now been urinated upon.

Pro motorsport wiring tends to do this too. Fortunately you can buy heat shrink labelers that can use to put labels on any wire you want.

Plus the top comment on the video was a guy saying someone just did the same thing at a Cars n Coffee in a Viper. So I guess the question is why is it always American cars. Why don't people just wait until they complete the turn and then burn out in a straight line? It's a lot easier to control if you're not 100% confident in your ability to tokyo drift.

I've seen a Challenger that probably would have hit something if it was turning in a smaller area. It was a left turn across two lanes and they must not have been very familiar with the car (it looked very new) because they gave it too much gas and fishtailed it a bit (they did not appear to be intentionally trying to do something stupid). I was following behind them and gave them A LOT of room after that. A lot of these cars just have a ton of power and it's not like the pathetic US drivers license test covers anything about driving 400hp+ cars on public roads. Maybe it would be nice to have more stringent licensing before you could drive a car over a certain hp/weight ratio or something.

It wouldn't matter because one of the wheels would break traction before the other in a straight line burnout which would lead to a tank slapper almost immediately.

It took me a minute or so to get my bearings when I had my accident.. I remember a bit of gasping for air, the force of the impact knocked the wind out of me. Then I saw the smoke from the airbag and spent some time wondering if the car was on fire, and then I realized I couldn't see anything and flailed around trying to find my glasses (they ended up on the dashboard, along with the hat I'd been wearing). By the time I got through all that my head was starting to clear and I was able to just calmly unhook my seatbelt, kick open my now hosed up door, and get out of the car. Even low speed wrecks are pretty violent things, I strongly recommend not getting in one.

Are "TESLA DRAG RACE VS X" videos terrible? I'm getting really annoyed across the internet seeing Tesla's thump a car in a drag race, but they never actually race them. Or one where they race a lamborghini but the Lamborghini isn't in corsa mode because reasons.

Raid a Pick & Pull and grab the rear swaybar from an early 90's Escort GT or LX wagon, and put that on in the rear with a new endlink kit. Round trip cost will be $40 and it makes the car feel totally different.

Not really, they'd blame the tires or something. Idiots never admit defeat, they double down on something unrelated. Latest example from Miata.net: some dude did a bad A/B test at Laguna Seca in his "spec" Miata and his brand new ND Club. Randy Pobst turned a 1:50.xxx in the ND for Motor Trend and this guy couldn't breach 1:55; he did turn a mid 1:50 in his "spec" Miata. He posited that maybe Randy Pobst, professional race car driver, might be a better driver than him; however, he's extremely curious about what tires Pobst was on... Except you know... His fake Spec Miata is 4+ seconds off of the pace at Laguna Seca and being 5 seconds slower than a professional race car driver might not be down to the tires. Definitely the tires.
