Having just played my first Rainmaker match where I actually carried the Rainmaker to a Knockout, I've got to say all the modes in Splatoon are distinct but still fun in their own ways. I'm at a point where Splatoon is superfun but i'm not wanting to dedicate more than two hours every other day, so i'm playing whenever Rainmaker is on and then go for Turf War when a Splatfest is on.

There's nothing really garbage about that. Either everyone else has become simultaneously awful at the game or the latency this afternoon feels much better. I've had a lot of fun with all modes, but I use different weapons for different modes/map layouts, it's a rare game on Moray Towers where my inkbrush is advantageous.

Ah right, I'm doing much better now that I remembered to actually be stealthy and to run from battles that I don't have the drop on. I was a bit too gung ho on painting paths to advance from and was getting killed for it

Like just now: I had 3 Japanese players on my team, 2 of which decided to play Turf Wars for the first 30 seconds while me and the other guy went for the Rainmaker. We burst the bubble. I get splatted taking out a couple of the opposing players. While I'm respawning, I look down at the map and see everyone dancing around the free Rainmaker like it has cooties. At that point, I'm certain we're already going to lose, but then a miracle happens and half way through my team turns around and is suddenly doing a super job backing each other up and pushing through and we win. God, I love this game.

The bruise to my ego from being slammed against level 40-50s in turf war is soothed a bit knowing I'm at least not as bad as most C-rankers.

Coincidentally those are the ones I like to stack on my clothes Edit:  Special Duration Up is useless on Inkstrike and might be useless on Echolocator, but I'm wearing the headphones for the look and it helps when I switch to other weapons like the Splattershot Jr. which is my other favourite BattleMaster fucked around with this message at 12:43 on Oct 5, 2015 |

Splatoon is so good that even Octavian in ACHHD want a squid showdown in his house. The house came with the paint already on and the rug, shirts, and easel came from QR codes that Nintendo made.   Also I didn't think about the Protype Rabbits until after I took the picture. I just like using Snake and Tiffany in pictures.

 Ninja Squid where have you been all my life? I can't believe how much this ability helps the Luna Blaster, it's insane. Also, played more ranked today and had hit reg problems with a Splattershot Jr. against a SQUID BEACON.
