played the pre-alpha for the new unreal tournament yesterday with bhodi it's real good! no real free to play aspects aside from a few cosmetics, but it runs great and is a blast and i got to gib bhodi a whole lot

so i don't know if there are any halo and firefly fans in here, but it's looking like halo 3 is trying to make up half of the firefly crew. even gave each corresponding actor/voice actor their characters personalities resembling the characters they played in firefly. still not interested in it, but i think i'd like to see some clips of some halo version of captain malcom and angry jayne.

the way i look at mgs story poo poo: kojima has specific scenes that he wants to see, then tries to write a story around those the scenes themselves can be really cool & powerful but the story as a whole is dumb as hell. especially after five or six generations of retconning

As a Millennial I posted:the way i look at mgs story poo poo: kojima has specific scenes that he wants to see, then tries to write a story around those i appreciate the mugs story stuff because it allows for crazy poo poo like 'language' to be a theme in a triple A video game, which is insane when you consider most games of that scale are stamped out like factory products on a yearly basis (e.g. assassins creed, madden) also the patriot codec monologue about the electronic proliferation of useless information in the last part of mgs 2 was legitimately one of the most eerily accurate predictions I've ever encountered. he commented in 2001 something that society is just starting to grapple with today

As a Millennial I posted:the way i look at mgs story poo poo: kojima has specific scenes that he wants to see, then tries to write a story around those you know what i miss. i miss the days of raiden in the games because you knew that a bunch of trolly hilarious poo poo was going to happen. i still remember that snake eraser video. towards the end he spoke of being in mgsv. prefer that easteregg to a bunch of recycled breasts of the same over-sexualized woman over and over and over. not like we could have sniper wolf or meryl back on the scene. god help us. but who gives a poo poo about storyline anymore, moar guns and lovely porno scenes.
