i'm sorry, i'm having difficulty comprehending this are we talking about the same Ron Howard that directed Apollo 13 and Frost/Nixon, and starred on Happy Days and The Andy Griffith Show, or some other Ron Howard that i've never heard of and we're talking about this person producing a live-action, feature-length motion picture based on a Japanese cartoon in which super heroes are sponsored by corporations like Pepsi because I'm having some difficulty wrapping my mind around this, mostly the part where someone looked at those details and said to themselves and others "This sounds like something that we should totally invest multiple millions of dollars into"

Glad the new Hunter x Hunter anime's finally getting a US distributor. I think it's a good fit for Toonami but they'll probably want to emphasize the darker aspects of the show in the promo materials. I could see a lot of Toonami regulars writing it off as too cutesy based off the first couple episodes.

Goku's like "Oh no you didn't" and Frieza gonna get hosed up. Parasyte: Shinichi is just a normal guy except now he has a body horror parasite in his hand. And now he's gotta fight other gross parasites! GROSS! Michiko and Hatchin: An assassin comes after Michiko and challenges her to see who can kill the other first. One Piece: FILLER. Tonight's the last filler. For now. Six episodes after this, we are going to get the most filler. LAST WEEK ON GOONAMI Baccano!: Everything ended. Happy birthday! FOUR EPISODES TONIGHT STARTING AT 10. We're watching episode 1 and the three OVA episodes.
