 I'm pretty sure they've said it was ok in the past, so I'm betting this is just a jmod trying to be cautious. But still I guess this is the official word on it now. Though of course I have no idea how they'd detect you using it anyways. All it does is screencapture Runescape and overlay some images, it never sends inputs. I'm not much of a merchant but I am considering dropping 15-20m on a Pet of seasons token.... as a new rare it's value will only go up the first few months, right? edit: so I decided to get one just minutes before the promotion ended! After looking around at prices on a couple websites and the RSOF I decided 18m was a good place to start with my offers on the GE. First try I got one for 17,999,000! I plan to hold on to it for a few months and see what happens. Here's hoping I can make a nice chunk of change! Haven't played in ages but I watched the runefest talk on elite skills and it sounded pretty good. Would have been better if they announced they were fixing loving smithing but at least it's not another 80 levels of dead content before you get to the untradeable good stuff.

Both Mining and Smithing reworks are confirmed 2016 updates. If I was guessing, based on some indications that they're going to tie invention into the rework, I'd say they'll come after Invention releases but before Invention Batch II.

It gives you a wing override which gives double exp and tokens in the event. Also remember to talk to the nurse in each warcamp to toggle what exp you want from healing/sabotaging ballistas.

Just started playing for the first time in years, and am trying to wrap my head around all of the changes since the last time I played (2009?). At least I get a new start, I was able to log in with my old account, but found out I was banned in 2013 twice for botting. I had to laugh at the fact that EVE-style memberships via gold exist. I remember suggesting that back in 2009 and the reaction was almost all against me. I hope I can find that thread... Send an invite to 'surlybadger'.
