I get used to reading manga pretty quickly, but I can't tell which way to read a lot of the English translations that I see from just a couple of panels, especially since there are some translations that read left to right.

There's issues with things like clothing not looking correct (zippers/buttons on the wrong sides) and background signs not looking correct. There could also be problems when handedness is important. Though, I'd say it's probably rare that such concerns would be insurmountable.
