earlier today in WOW I launched torpedoes almost point blank at a battleship. they didn't explode and I promptly died to secondary guns as a DD. I learned that torpedoes apparently have a minimum charge range - maybe to not blow up the ship it's on? :3:

in Silent Hunter you could actually set the range your torpedoes to explode before firing them, so maybe there's a similar feature?

no it's more arcade-like (which angers all the historical nuts), more like rogue squadron instead of x-wing alliance. The only real override in the game is dropping torps from planes (you can play as a CV) manually, which imo is what makes them OP since they bypass the minimum distance you'd otherwise need to time hits correctly.

yeah it's world of warships why would it not??? No subs though, that would make things too difficult or something, or introduce another layer into the game that CVs already did

just search "crusader kings 2 walkthrough" on youtube. there are tons out there. There are also some good goon LP's as well. The flamboyant schemers one springs to mind if you have archives.

i am by no means trying to say that MMOs, especially those that follow a WoW-like formula, are good. believe me, i've been suckered into MMOs enough times that i DO NOT want back in.

that's a lalafell, a race of like midget-elves or whatever, and as you can see they attract a lot of creepos. they can be pretty amusing when they're not outright dressed in tubetops and poo poo, and from my experience most of the gear was pretty modest anyway (any race can wear any armor, it just gets scaled up or down depending on what race is wearing it)

the tifa costume, for example, is just cosmetic stuff with literally no stats, so you wouldn't see a lot of people running around like that anyway.
