you can use external device keys so you don't necessarily need tpm for bitlocker or w/e and there are alternatives but if you're in a position where you're required to have tpm you've probably got a vendor you're forced to use selling you plastic shitboxes you hate anyway also if microsoft ever makes a real laptop it will probably have me too butterfly keys but they'll be called dragonfly or dragon wing or something very cool actually they'd probably be called microsoft™ surface™ flush mount surface-technology™ ultra low profile four point interface keyboard keys for microsoft™ surface™ portable computer devices
