I finally got to A+ last night and was at So Hawt for most of the night, and that was playing Splat Zones, which I usually hate. Loving the patch so far.

I played a few matches last night with blasters and honestly didn't feel too much worse off. Actually blaster mirror matches were better because I didn't just instantly die when an enemy blaster looked at me. Looking forward to ranked once my head clears up.

I’m kinda sad that the Range Blaster was nerfed, it was already pretty inferior compared to the Luna and both the regular Blasters.

I might go back to the Dual Squelcher now that you can move faster with it. I started using the custom blaster and liked it, did the patch make it worthless?

The patch isn't as harsh as I would have made it but i'm biased so i'm sure they're adjusting a little and seeing what happens.

Just used my 3K Scope on the Saltspray/Hammerhead rotation, had one squid escape from a partially-charged shot but that only meant 11 splats instead of 12 that match. Nerf didn't really hurt that much from what I can tell. On the other hand, a Roller and Inkzooka who would've gotten me pre-patch got Burst Bomb'd and shot for their troubles instead so I guess this patch has actually made it easier for me.

Nzap was my go to for turf war (who am I kidding, I should just say for splat fests) and I main one of the dual squelchers for both tower control and rainmaker, so this update suits me just fine.

Actually, any long ranged weapon will do on Triggerfish. Any shorter than that and you need to go through the gauntlet. So it's either that or splat bombs.

I already got my Splatune album from CDJapan! It shipped on 10/19 and actually arrived yesterday but I didn't get the mail until just now because I didn't expect air mail from Japan to take 2 days (this is seriously some sort of record). Anyway, it's as awesome as expected so far! Plus, the tracklist on the back of the case is in English, which is a nice plus.

I use pretty long ranged weapons like the .96 and the splattershot pro anyway (Mostly the splattershot--firing rate's more to my liking.)  I might just be having a run of bad luck with that map. I like it as a map, though.
