a kitten posted:ooo playlists are v good and i love making them i made two eight hour ones for a coffee place once and it was a lot of fun making something so big and trying to line up the energy and movements right to keep the whole thing stimulating but not exhausting and then pandora blew up and while it's not really a directed experience it's hard to argue with the effort/reward ratio

I only saw them as a scrappy young anime enthusiast but the first show is enjoyable but really uneven in its blending of school comedy and military action sensibility, and a lot of the parts about it felt silly, like the special mech powers and whatnot fumoffu is obviously all comedy and good the second raid is way more cohesive and better paced from start to finish, but it's also much more melodramatic and the comedy falls out early on. That said I liked both it and fumoffu a lot at the time

Their solo album is actually really good, but insanely hard to find. It doesn't have David Mann though, which is a shame because he has a good voice.

its also definitely not my favorite elo song because its the song that comes out of the radio on the harvest moon map in obsidian conflict and therefore i spent a lot of time listening to it while hitting rocks and sticks with crowbars, that would be silly.

I have been playing the SF5 beta and am reminded by it that I am very bad at fighting in the streets. Also I can't play Chun at all because they changed her cr.MP from the ridiculously good SF4 one to an unsafe slide and I can't get using it out of my system.
