Parts of MO near Rt 66 give rise to lots of weird sideshow attractions: The world's largest rocking chair  And the Vacuum Museum  But by far the best thing about Missouri is Barrel Bob, MoDOT's official mascot:  He travels around Missouri and reminds us to Slow Down! He even has his own facebook page. MoDOT photoshops photos of Bob in order to dress him up in fun outfits:

I used to see barrel bob when driving to baseball games, it's kind of sad to hear that it is the DOT's mascot, I thought some highway workers were just having a good time.
