Just look at what happened to Anne Perkins when she actually started working for the parks and recs dept. The writers went insane and she floated thru two seasons and then went baby crazy for no reason and tried to artificially inseminate herself is that what you want is it?!

For me, it happened yesterday during class. My non anime-watching friend and I were having an argument over what the homework was, and after going on for a bit he casually said, "Fight me". I jokingly responded, "Do you even know who you're challenging? I've watched enough action anime to perfect my technique, so obliterating you would be a piece of cake" I said this pretty loud, loud enough that the popular, buff football and rugby star of our grade sitting near us heard and said, "You watch anime?" I didn't know the guy that well and was really hoping he wouldn't try to make fun of it so I just said, "Yeah, what about it?" His eyes widened a bit and suddenly said, "Really? Dude I just finished Attack on Titan and it's one of the best shows ever!" I was stunned in that moment, he was literally the last person I would expect to be an anime fan. We then talked a bit more and he told me he's only seen Naruto and Attack on Titan, so I recommended him FMA:B and Death Note as obligatory starter anime (He's currently watching FMA as we speak). Safe to say, I made a new friend I never would have expected to make because of anime  Anyone on here with any simiiar experiences?
