There is a lake in Minnesota called "Leech Lake". Didn't always used to be called that though. Used to be called "Ozagaskwaajimekaag-zaaga'igan" which is an Ojibwe phrase for "Lake Abundant with bloodsuckers".

Fun fact, the burial mounds in St. Paul, MN were actually completely destroyed, then a bunch of dirt was just piled up about a mile away from the original site. The city/state acts like the mounds are heritage sites now, but they're just dirt piled on a bunch of rubble from the train (the Sioux Line) station.


EDIT: I can't get terrible Grain Belt Premium in Colorado.
