Morn came and went—and came, and brought no day,
And men forgot their passions in the dread
Of this their desolation; and all hearts
Were chill'd into a selfish prayer for light:
And they did live by watchfires—and the thrones,
The palaces of crowned kings—the huts,
The habitations of all things which dwell,
Were burnt for beacons; cities were consum'd,
And men were gather'd round their blazing homes
To look once more into each other's face;
Happy were those who dwelt within the eye
Of the volcanos, and their mountain-torch:
A fearful hope was all the world contain'd;
Forests were set on fire—but hour by hour
They fell and faded—and the crackling trunks
Extinguish'd with a crash—and all was black.
The brows of men by the despairing light
Wore an unearthly aspect, as by fits
The flashes fell upon them; some lay down
And hid their eyes and wept; and some did rest
Their chins upon their clenched hands, and smil'd;
And others hurried to and fro, and fed
Their funeral piles with fuel, and look'd up
With mad disquietude on the dull sky,
The pall of a past world; and then again
With curses cast them down upon the dust,
And gnash'd their teeth and howl'd...

Haha. CNBC gets the debate and decides it's in their best interest to go to some dumb show that nobody cares about ten minutes later instead of actual coverage. :psyduck:

He had a moderator apologize for being right and then when they tried to call him out he turned it back on them.

I'm 100% convinced I was right that he had advanced knowledge of Jeb!'s attack on Rubio's voting record, which didn't end well for Jeb! It wasn't a campaign ender, but oof, it might have been if there weren't enough clips of the candidates attacking the moderators during the rest of the debate.

edit: oh, wait, campaign ender for Jeb, duh, but I still don't see how?

Star Citizen is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it's fidelity when you look out your window or when you watch youtube

I really dislike Hillary, but seeing her debate any of these candidates would be incredibly entertaining. I do have concerns about Trump pulling out a win on her with some of his Trump bullshit, but even in that worst case scenario he'd still be better than any other Republican candidate, in a chaotic unknown sort of way. As bad as Trump managing to win the Presidency is, just imagine any of those other assholes winning. gently caress.

Tr*ckin' and F*ckin' all the way to tha
T O P

Rubio was the only candidate on stage tonight that looked like an actual president. He spoke well, deflected criticism, and seemed to hit all the right notes for the Republican base. He's usurped Jeb's position as the inevitable candidate.

Cruz and Fiorina also did very well, to my surprise. Trump gave a solid performance and I don't think this debate will harm him, but he wasn't the center of attention as in past debates.

Jeb and Kasich are the only people who really did poorly. I am almost sure that Kasich knows he can't win and was instead using his podium to try and bring down Trump/Carson, consequences be damned.
