Breaking Ground is fantastic. It's what Tough Enough should have been. Only thing that sucks is you know who's getting released before the shows air so it becomes this bad feeling watching someone you know is getting released.

Monkeycheese posted:the demonstrable pattern of them not promoting the achievements of family murderer man, benoit I didn't know that was a length they would go to for solely that purpose. Seems arbitrary from the perspective that no one would consider acknowledgement an endorsement, or a how-to manual on how to get the mindset to finally off our pesky familias. On the contrary, it casts shame over so much which is blameless.

It seems like they really want the Smackdown Six stuff up there, but are in an awkward spot because of the original six, Edge is the only one who is a) still alive and b) still on good terms with the company. We're coming up on the 10-year anniversary of Eddie's death, so they could do something big on the Network to honor him. I don't think it's a coincidence we saw two big Eddie tribute spots at HIAC.

I'm going home from the hospital today after an appendectomy. I'm going to be laid up in my apartment for a few days. What're some of the better ECW shows to check out? I used to enjoy Hardcore TV when I could occasionally find it on TV but never watched any of the pay per views.

Things are generally entertaining after Wrestlemania 13. They're still clearing the decks of a lot of old dudes, but you've got heel Bret & the Hart Foundation, Mankind, Brian Pillman, etc.

That's not a bad place but you'll miss the forming of the Hart Foundation, Bret's "Frustrated isn't the goddamn word for it" promo, Bret attacking Stone Cold in an ambulance, and HBK/Stone Cold teaming up if you do that. I would start here and watch it on fast foward up until KOTR only stopping if you see Bret, Austin, Shawn, Mankind, or anything else interesting. http://rspw.org/petrie/970317.txt I believe this is the first Vince Russo Raw. It's about when things drastically start to change. http://rspw.org/petrie/970421.txt

Keep hoping a new LEGENDS will appear on the schedule but it seems they're holding on to them. In theory they could have at least as many episodes as retired people as have appeared on RAW since the show debuted, which is a good number. I mean, does anyone recall them saying Bischoff was some sort of sneak peak?
