If I understand it right, you can install this on your PBX with its own extension and simply forward spam callers there for fun, without having to be on the call yourself. I want something like this for home use.

Wow, I always thought Lenny was a soundboard and someone was just picking the phrases. This is like an involuntary Turing test with telemarketers.

Here's some old school early celebration schadenfreude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOMzdxynChs 1994 NBA Playoffs, Reggie Miller hits a shot to go up 2 with 0.8 seconds left and bows to the Chicago crowd. Unfortunately for him, Toni Kukoc uses those 0.8 seconds to hit a game winning three.

Bird in a Blender posted:Here's some old school early celebration schadenfreude. Was the one that Pippen refused to go in for because they drew the play up for Kukoc? Regardless, those shots were so much more exciting back then before there was a mandatory delay while the refs checked the monitors to make sure he got the shot off in time.

I think it's been about 10 days since the last call that I wasn't sure about picking up, though virtually all of them are local numbers and a few have been wrong numbers or a case of mistaken identity (a guy with major debt problems changed his number without telling anyone, and I ended up being the guy who got that number with a new phone).

I don't mind marketing calls on my mobile, because I can block their number. Little more difficult on a landline.

The marketing calls on my cellphone are always machines because the callers know it's illegal to auto dial a cellphone and I guess they don't want me swearing at them.

Probably figure that if they're going to do one illegal thing, they might as well do two. Unsolicited robocalls in general are illegal. Do not call list or not, landline or cell.

Yeah I get a call at least once a week on my mobile from some student loan re-financing place in Illinois. Every time I listen to the voicemail it starts in about halfway through the pre-recorded spiel right at the point where they say "this is your final notice..."
