I want to play because that glitch looks hilarious. I mean, it looks fun anyway. But that glitch makes me giggle like a moron and makes me want to play and hope it happens.

Okay, so I had a semi-annoying glitch that is related to a trainer for MGSV. I was, pretty early on in the game, getting frustrated with how hard I was finding it to find Fuel in order to research equipment and build extensions to mother base. So I got a trainer and tried to just give me the maximum Fuel resources so I could just line up a bunch of upgrades and be done with it. But the trainer didn't work. So I tried again. Still no luck. I tried one last time, and it did work. So I was happy. Did that one thing, one time, playe some more, then saved and quit a while later. Turns out, that one attempt at cheating hosed my save file. Every time I loaded my save, I would find that I have maximum everything. Max Fuel. Max minerals. Max medicinal herbs. 200,000 tanks, of both kinds. 200,000 trucks. 200,000 jeeps. 200,000 mortars. 200,000 Gear Walkers. When I eventually unlocked them, I would load the game to find I had 200,000 goddamn nukes. There were a few side effects, such as discovering that I could no longer recieve combat mission rewards, because I already had too much of everything. It also meant that I had essentially unlimited money, (money was never effected upon loading a save, strangely) because any time I was getting low, I would just sell a couple of tanks or a poo poo-tonne of flowers to max out my GMP, then keep on buying and building poo poo. I never ran out of anything. As someone who found the GMP limit frustrating, it was great. As someone who enjoyed stealing everything in the mission areas, it was less great, because now there was no point to stealthily stealing that tank, since I already had 200,000 of the loving things. But here is where it gets interesting. I no longer have any of that. The cure to my infinite resources? I got invaded and the enterprising bastard stole everything. All of it, reportedly stolen by some guy named Dave. I'm not even mad. I just enjoy imagining him successfully tearing through my (fully kitted out, of course) base, sitting back to see what he's successfully pilfered from me, and promptly making GBS threads himself.

Eggbeater Jesus posted:I haven't played that in a while now. Are carp still vicious killing machines? Nah, thankfully impossibly buff fish are no longer possible. For those that don't know, fish were constantly in a state of physical activity so their strength and agility would also always be increasing until they could easily solo anything that got near them. Carp are crazy aggressive to begin with so they would actually grab or attack Dwarves that were on the shoreline and tear them apart. And then on evil Biomes you can get skeletal or zombie Carp and poo poo was terrifing because they would exit the water to kill you.

The main issue was because Toady cocked up a body part on them so rather than having a little "regular mouth" bodypart they basically had a "biting attack mouth" bodypart that was meant for like wolves and leopards and the like. The ludicrous stat bonuses from swimming were the icing on the cake.

This might be the wrong thread to ask this, but does anyone know of a Metal Gear Solid video where the guy sets people up and takes awesome (in game) photos? I searched and searched but I can't find the drat thing partially because it was in Japanese. The video was longish, and had things like taking a photo while an explosion happened, or when he kicked down a door. Thanks to anyone who can help.

And carps haven't been a problem in a long time either., so what's your point? Sponges are only deadly due to the dwarves falling over from exhaustion, since the sponge cant actually be killed. unless you freeze it or lava it I am reminded of the story of an adventurer, so came across two sponge-men sitting by each other, eternally screaming battle shouts and taunts at each other.

I'm fairly sure the game in question was City Car Driving. The video ended with the person stopping their car in traffic, so that the other cars slowly nudged the car until it flipped over, at which point it started flying upwards into the sky, followed by all the other cars. Does anybody remember this? I'm bummed this video is gone, it's the only one in this thread that made me laugh until I cried.
