I suspect Trump wants rock 'em sock 'em debates with horrible moderators as it only helps his chances when the race is a gong show. With that said I bet he only wants said debates to be about an hour since he gasses out after about 45 minutes.

They should just abandon the charade and just call the debates tag-team speeches. You can't call it a debate when the candidates piss themselves in fear over biased moderators.

Jeb and Rubio's tax plans lead to trillions less debt than Trump's over the next 10 years, plus they don't propose nearly as much spending. Sanders proposes more spending, but also more new taxes. It isn't. Trump is the only candidate whose firmly anti-austerity. Bernie comes close but probably would need to raise taxes on more than just rich Americans which isn't going to fly. It's important to remember that Carter was a pro-austerity president who lost to someone who cut taxes and drove spending way up.

Intelligence isn't used to divine truthful opinions, that's a useful lie. Intelligence is used to earn income and to craft pleasing and convenient opinions with almost no reference to so called reality. There are astrophysicists who listen to rush and why shouldn't there be? They're using their intelligence to make themselves happy and who are we to say that they're dumb for it

Gotcha is a bad term for what they were doing but they were terrible questions. Most notably asking Huckabee whether he thought Trump had the moral compass to lead, when Huckabee is as immoral as they come. E: they just need one moderator commonly considered to be on their side, like Anderson Cooper and the Democrats, to keep order & a harsh panel of people under him or her to ask tough questions. Keep in mind these are supposed to be about registered Republicans picking their candidate, not the country picking which is most sane. If the question s were that bad, they should have been better able to deal with them. It's like in martial arts, if the other guys form was that bad, why couldn't you handle him? Seriously, if the questions were genuinely bad, a good candidate wouldn't need to run from them. Hieronymous Alloy fucked around with this message at 03:22 on Nov 1, 2015 |

Questions that are just "are you a lovely person y/n" are pretty silly. Asking Rubio if he should resign is one where there's no expectation of anything but "no," just like asking Trump if he's a cartoon character. More to the point, the "do you want to regulate fantasy football" question was pretty absurd. How about the "What apps do you have on your phone?" question at the undercard?
