There hasn't been an actual statement that Chang = Chiang Kai-shek, right? I thought that identification was speculation from a writer and a good opportunity to make Jeb look stupid (not that he needs help in that). Based on what he actually said, I was under the impression that it did NOT refer to Chiang, but specifically to a -- probably legendary -- ancient warrior that the family had drawn motivation from.
