Random rear end in a top hat posted:Holy poo poo, like I kind of expected low production values, but that lipsynching, goddamn. Is that yet another thing the console ports sacrifice for a few sweet sweet FPS, or is like that in the PC version too? If they actually intend to release the game like that, I may not stop laughing until the game comes out. Going into a supermutant infested tower to teach them Shakespeare and then one of them sort of learns it... that's just some epic Fun right there. Much like my favorite Dr. Who eps. And if the dog clips through the floor? Hell, icing on the cake my man.

I love the improvements they made from NV in the basic gameplay. The looting window is centered and doesn't pause the game. Stimpaks have to be used in real time. The separate pieces and layers of armor. The changing crosshairs and the general feel of weapons. Thanks for posting the videos, it looks good!

I'm not saying what we've seen so far of Fallout 4's graphics isn't laughable for the year 2015, however we can't compare this developer to that developer. Maybe if Bungie made FO4 with these graphics you could compare it to Halo 2, but not in this situation.

back in 1994 before a lot of people were born I played a little game called "Daggerfall" this demo came out on a "PC Gamer" CD disc (bundled with the magazine, a sick 150ish page conglomeration of bad rear end images, stories, and information that would make the 2015 internet blush!)... It was probably in the fall or maybe it was Christmas, but I still remember the hours upon hours I would pour into this world. It was HUGE. The size of daggerfall was unreal and even in the demo you could explore a massive chunk of it. The purpose and content of the demo was pretty limited but it was all procedurally generated (before that word even existed perhaps?) and you could do so much like kill all the guards, kill all the civilians, get caught by guards, be in jail (I think you could be in jail?). You could be an archer and sneak on top of houses, kill people while they slept, kill guards from the rooftops. Running on top of houses in 1994 killing people? Umm, the best RPG ever. This game was loving awesome. I still have memories of looking out the window and seeing snow on the ground and sun shine as I tromped through this world finding bears, elves, sometimes dead civilians and thugs all over the place. I still have NO idea what I ever accomplished but I remember this was m y favorite demo when I was younger. What the gently caress happened Bethesda? Fallout 4 is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Todd Howard in 2015. It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects. The scenario presents a game that may be simultaneously both good and bad, a state known as a quantum superposition, as a result of being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur. The thought experiment is also often featured in theoretical discussions of the interpretations of quantum mechanics. Howard coined the term Verschränkung (entanglement) in the course of developing the thought experiment.
