It's not a completely offensive model, though the brass barrel extensions bother me too much because of how much smaller they are than the actual modeled barrel.

Well, the maximini turret would be waaay too big for the Chimera hull, not that it isn't too large for a back-Russ. As for the barrel extension, I think they were thinking about those protruding ends that gatling guns, Assault cannons and old timey water cooled MGs have at the end. The only way to hams is to buy minis off eBay, get conversion bits from China and use any other ruleset. I have a stupid idea for a Five Men in Nocturne campaign LP that I will never carry out.

Well, if he were actually doing that it would be acceptable. But he's not. He's used a minimum of a Leman Russ, Rhino and the third party turret. There's no way that is cheaper that just buying the Hydra.
