It makes black holes appear right when you shoot it, so there's no travel time. Add heavy calibre and speed trigger. It's great shooting above crowds or into doorways and seeing crowds pop. I was also told to build for crits and it's a monster like that.

If anyone is interested only in small amount of plat, I'm selling 100 plat for $2 (while supplies last, I have over 2k and another 3k on the wife's account). It's practically a 60% discount off regular price.

With multi-shot, I'm not feeling the need for stuff like speed trigger. It only takes 2 shots to black hole with it, as opposed to 4 so I can be more relaxed with my shots and placement. I can see crit being big on it, like you said though. Oh boy. Plus I don't really feel the need to spec too hard into status chance because the natural chance it pretty high. Seriously this thing is probably my favourite gun in the game.

So it's been probably a year since I last played. There are like a good 5 frames I don't recognize from before (atlas, equinox, chroma, mesa, and when I was playing limbo had come out and I never finished getting him either - not to mention a bunch of other frames I'm missing regardless). The whole archwing thing had also sort of recently come out and I had never gotten far with that, and I think they had reworked the mod/abilities system so that now you automatically play with all abilities, which was nice. Oh, and syndicates were a new thing and I never got too far into them. Just reached the first tier with the cephalon one. Questions: - which of the above mentioned warframes should I look into first? - any other older frames get any kind of major update that would make them worth looking into again? - my main gun when I left was a quanta I was in the midst of forma'ing (it has 5 or 6 in it, I think). is it still pretty good for harder content? what are some primary weapons that people recommend for being a godlike being of destruction? Or any other random tidbits anyone feels like waxing on about, that would be fantastic.

Of all the frames you mentioned, Limbo is probably the easiest to acquire, followed by Chroma. The rest all have long grinds where you pray for the right drops. Limbo is kind of a lovely novelty, Chroma can become near unkillable if modded right, Atlas has like one skill that's fun to use, Equinox has a good kill-everything AOE spell but has like 9 different parts, and Mesa has an ult that's just an aimbot which is still pretty cool, even if it's a shadow of its former self. Excalibur got the biggest update of all the old frames and is really fun now, he can shoot sword beams all day. Saryn just got a rework but no one is happy with it. Quanta is still good for killing poo poo. Tonkor is the new primary that everyone loves, mod it for crits and it can clear entire groups of enemies in one shot. Also worth looking into: Sonicor, Atomos, Hek (with the syndicate mod), Dread. Some of the syndicate weapons are also popular: Synoid Gammacor (good but eats ammo), Vaykor Marelok, Telos Akbolto are some of the most used. They also released syndicate primary weapons recently, which require MR 12. I've only tried the Simulor but i've heard good things about most of them, except maybe the Telos Boltor. And of course there are pretty good Prime weapons out there if you can stand the grind. Soma Prime is the go-to reliable crit hose weapon, but Boltor P and Paris P are pretty good too. Hikou Prime are fun to stick multishot and fire rate on, and Lex Prime is a decent no-frills pistol. Cicadalek fucked around with this message at 19:09 on Nov 7, 2015 |

Frost got much better in every way. Valkyr's 4 is a toggle now. Excalibur got their abilities changed. Tonkor, vaykor hek/hek, sancti tigris, and kohm are my favorite best guns.

The best part about Atlas is his 100% immunity to knockdown effects. Secura Penta, Sobek, and Sancti Tigris are my favorite primaries, though which ones will click with you I can't say.

So I'm in the process of getting back into the game just to check things out. The new movement system seems pretty baller, but it's taking me some time to adjust. In clan chat someone mentioned a goon Parkour 2.0 cheatsheet being posted in this thread. Does someone have a link to that? I found this on reddit: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/501727-guide-parkour-20-tips-and-tricks-tutorial-videos-collection/ Just wondering if we have our own version, possibly more condensed.

Actually, I feel dumb for asking, but does anyone have any alternate keybinding suggestions? I think the thing to start off the bullet jump is defaulted to ctrl + space, but I have small hands and hitting ctrl while I'm already using shift to sprint feels awkward and hard to do. It also starts hurting after a while or I'd just chalk it up to needing more practice.

In prime news, I'm down to needing the dual kama prime, reaper prime, boar prime, akbronco prime, bo prime, volt prime and trinity prime. Parts needed are Bo handle, bronco barrel, volt chassis for things im down to one part needed. So of course im running out of keys for them.

Couldn't be a better fit. D-pad is movement, jump/crouch/sprint are on the right of the home row, pinky finger gets all the powers, reload/weapon swap/use are on the top right, misc. functions on the bottom row. Doing all the weird acrobatics is a lot easier when it's just a matter of drumming my ring, middle, and index fingers in a particular order. It's been rebranded a couple times, I think the Razer Tartarus is the current version, but you might be better off with a Logitech G13. Dunno if Warframe will play nice with the joystick on the G13, but you can always set it to dpad emulation.

C.M. Kruger posted:Toggle Crouch should be bound to V by default, I find that's a lot easier to use. What, hit V and then space every time you need to bullet jump? That seems slow as hell, and trying it just now it requires significant hand movement even for someone with medium-sized hands. It also starts hurting after a while or I'd just chalk it up to needing more practice. A lot of people bind crouch to a side mouse button. I just use the default shift-ctrl combo, it's actually quite intuitive once you get used to the motion and there's no other control arrangement that doesn't leave important keys in very counterintuitive places. The important thing about learning to use shift-ctrl is that you lay your pinky flat across both keys, don't try to somehow hit both with the tip of your finger. Usually you start by pressing directly downward on shift with your pinky tip, like normal, and then when you need to slide, rock back+down and straighten the finger so that you mash both keys at once with the length of it. Everything in this combo is quite close together so having tiny hands shouldn't really have much bearing on it. Yes, it is weird at first and will make your hand hurt from the constantly repeated unfamiliar motion. But if you just keep practicing you'll adapt.
