duTrieux. posted:using windows 10 is, like, 95% the same as using windows 7 unless you don't know what a keyboard is and have everything cranked to 800by600 because why make everything so tiny?!? ive avoided upgrading on my surface pro 3 because windows 10 honestly doesn't work that great as a tablet os. tablet mode still isn't as functional as 8.1 is out of the box. i think it's ms just running too hard in the other direction when people complained that 8 was too touchscreen oriented. all I do on my desktop is steal all of the porn and play all of the vidya games. are there any outstanding issues for either of those two use cases?

there's a pretty decent video showing a surface book compared to a macbook from a guy who doesn't use macs. actually found it pretty detailed and impartial. needless to say macbook "won" and the video is massively down voted and trolled by xbots. amazingly, with normal use the surface book scratches the gently caress out of tables.  some other highlights are how much the guy loves the mac's force touch trackpad compared to the surface one. also the discovery that you can't charge the tablet by simply docking it, it needs to be plugged in. the more you think about it, the worse this gets. want to pack light for an over-night trip by leaving the keyboard at home? sorry, you can't charge the tablet part without the keyboard cause the power connector is on the keyboard. which would be fine if the battery life was 10 hours like the iPad, but it's only 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8zSM2YbnQo
