Yeah, as gesture of kindness from a non-cook friend, it looks pretty inoffensive. Nothing there is cooked beyond the bounds of morality, ingredients aren't being combined counter to the will of God.

Rethink that friendship.

Certainly nothing worth posting a picture about... but seriously? I'd love to see your typical meals that are so far beyond what looks like this inoffensive picture.

Only major problem I see is way too much bread on the plate.

I keep waiting for the inevitable unfair backlash against cash crab cause she didn't try to be a gimmick and just kind of played along with it. She didn't really seek it out and seemed more confused than anything when it first started. There are a few posters who can't shut the gently caress about her which is creepy but again, that's not her fault.

If I am not mistaken that is saag paneer, fried cottage cheese cubes in spinach/mustard greens masala, and I would literally - and I am being absolutely earnest here - eat that whole thing if nobody stopped me or I ran out of chappatis.

A lot of Indian food in general is one of those "looks awful but tastes as if touched by a deity" deals.

It's actually extra weird when it's in threads I haven't posted in. I find a lot of graceful side-stepping does the trick.

Back when I ate terribly unhealthily as opposed to just slightly, I went all in on the gimmick flavors whenever they came out. Smores was pretty bad, same with Reeses Cups flavor (how you gently caress that up I don't know), but the cookie dough and red velvet flavors were the best. Cotton candy though sounds really unpleasant, even to me.

The mint one was so good that it's now a regularly available flavor. Lemon is pretty good too, but orange is terrible. I am a fat who is trying to change my ways. It's working.
