Do you get fewer coins for Greed Mode once you've already won? I used to get 19 coins for a nonstop clear on 8 waves, now I get 17. Or am I just seeing RNG variance?

I didn't know there was an achievement for doing the Chest/Dark Room without getting hit, but there is and I got it.  I have all the "don't get hit" achievements now, I think!

It's not as readily available as the IV Bag used to be, but I got a Blank Card + 2 of Diamonds in Greed mode today. Use the reset machine until you end up with a battery on the market and it's almost like the good old times. And praise Big Baby Jesus it was on a Sampson run.

Sampson is my favorite character. There's so many ways to get hearts that he can end up being stronger than pre-nerf Azazel with actual Brimstone

I'm getting Luck Up from picking up coins. Which of my items are causing this? I'm playing Samson and have Krampus's Head, Counterfeit Penny, Pageant Boy, Pentagram, Toothpicks, Cricket's Head, Ball of Bandages, Cancer, Small Rock. I thought it might be the Counterfeit Penny proccing, but I tested it and it's not. And my Luck stat is increasing on the character screen.

Putting one cent in the greed box after finishing Greed mode unlocks lucky pennies, which sometimes replace coin drops.

So, the Tumor transformation has been fixed and is now a three directional shot, rather than just being a transformation version of The Wiz. Also, while a high rate of fire and shielded tears makes most of he Hush fight a joke the continuum tears are immune to shielded tears.

Yeah, I've found that standing still with the continuum tears works really well to avoid them. I was just surprised that shielded tears didn't work on them.

Am I correct in thinking that the challenge conditions are now non-rerollable? I'm starting the Have a Heart challenge, found MissingNo early, but it's not taking away the Charm of the Vampire nor whatever resets my health every floor. I bought the Book of Belial from Satan and picked up a Sin Heart in the same room; next floor I'm back to a dozen empty heart containers but still had the Book.

Interesting. Since I started a new save file, I don't have any challenges completed (and thus no runes unlocked). I expected the rune bag to do absolutely nothing as per Binding of Isaac tradition of the laziest solution being the chosen one, but actually they thought of that and it drops cards instead. edit: Also, I was looking at a thread on the binding of isaac reddit and glanced at the sister site list so I could go to the modding site and

Holy loving poo poo, do NOT pick up the red crosshair when you have IPECAC. Congratulations, you now have no way to stop firing your tears as you move a targeting cursor across the level. A red targeting cursor that is really damned easy to lose track of on the Womb. Had a Charm of the Vampire run I nearly lost despite getting a rainbow plop early on due to hitting myself with my IPECAC shots.

I'm disappointed with the new transformations, all of them are pretty lame. I guess being Cthulhu is fine but all it gives is flight and some HP? Meh.
