Vahn tweeted the Gorgon is like barely better than average global k/d right now, so unless its wildly outperforming, they probably won't do poo poo to it. I have a really loving hard time with the KRM and Argus though, goddamn. Hitmarker city. Not hitmarker as in 'I hit and he didn't die from the damage!', nah, hitmarker as in 'their killcam says I didn't even fire!'. The Haymaker (and Brecci, somewhat) skirts that by just laying down a wall of lead, but the slower shotties need the 1sk. Can't really start prefiring with an Argus

I had a ton of trouble maxing the KRM but that's because I'm awful I guess. I tend to run headlong into lanes to catch people but usually got shredded by run n gun SMGs. I could swear that hits are just not registering but who really knows. At least SMGs are universally super easy to max out.

I tried out the Dredge thinking it would be bad because it's a burst fire LMG, and it has some issues, like the occasional burst getting hit markers but not killing, but I also did some serious work with it. A few solid triple and quad kills, against groups my usual shotgun build or the gorgon would have folded to. The six bullets in the burst come out quick and there's not a ton of recoil so they don't spray all over the place. Aim for upper torso and the last bullet or two will headshot pretty easy too.

Kuda doesn't seem too suited for it, and the Weevil has such piddly damage.

Holy gently caress, the flamethrower. This thing will be nerfed once more players hit 46+ and start using it. The range is crazy and it takes like 3 ticks to kill someone, 1 tick to set them on fire (and kill them a second or so later), very high range and it lasts a pretty long time. I've been combining it with Overclock and use a Haymaker for the downtime.

No combat shield, akimbo, javelin, or noob tube? How the hell am I supposed to cheese this game? Seriously though I'm having decent fun with this. It lacks the certain je ne sais quoi that Black Ops II had for me, but I give Treyarch credit for bending their formula a bit in ways that mostly work.

So I've been playing or trying to play in the middle of the day and have been getting servers been down. (I'm in S Texas on a PS4) I tried the nightmares single player, but I was told that my progress wouldn't count for anything once the servers kicked back in. I guess that's the same for regular campaign and zombies? Why would a developer do that? Why would anyone want to play through something AGAIN just cause you're now back on their servers that went down? Gorgon is awesome, I really need to get rapid fire unlocked for it, and the Drakon with an acog scope is very nice as an annoying long distance weapon and medium range. And am I correct in saving my black market tokens for the rare chest and gently caress the cheaper one?

I'm back. Long post because I haven't posted at all in quite a while. Opinions (I'm only level... ~44? so far, been playing Anno 2205, LotV, another 100 hours of MGS5, etc.): Argus is a monster with quickdraw and stock, as long as I ADS (obviously what I'm doing with those attachments) and I haven't even unlocked long barrel or rapid fire. However, I haven't really played with the other shotguns yet. Pharo is really good. I liked the Gorgon initially, but now I'm not so hot on it, and have gotten rid of it from my classes. At least 3 of my classes always have the BlackCell or whatever since it can knock anything out of the sky without having to respawn. Sheiva is really good, as expected from using it in the beta. I had my best game yet about an hour ago and I don't even have my preferred attachments yet; was using just quickdraw and reflex sight in this game:   Didn't get a nuclear  Awareness seems decent, unlike BO2, but I feel very paranoid about missing footsteps if I'm not using it, even though I could be using a different but also good slot 3 perk. As for specialists, I've been using Battery with kinetic armor a lot (only using War Machine enough to get customization options), but I also really like using the robot with Psychosis. For streak rewards, I've been using the UAV, CUAV, Talon combo probably 80% of the time. For tacticals I've been using mostly the trophy system, if anything. I don't equip lethal equipment much, and when I do, it's just a frag grenade. It's more like my teammates, for the most part, were defending the upper portion on the other side of the map, keeping most of the people out of my hair and mostly leaving me alone as I dealt with multiple enemy spawn waves.AirRaid posted:It's because I'm on PC isn't it Yes. drat does no one play during the day. It's my work from home day and was hoping to play most of the day lol Also, I still have nuketown in the bonus gametype, thought people were saying it's gone. edit: PS4 name is MattInFL1 edit again: so apparently I hadn't updated to the latest files yet and it took 10 mins for the PS4 to realize that. There's two competing influences when playing in a group when talking about personal performance. To me it always seems that in a group of goons my connection will, on average, be much worse as compared to playing solo. This makes sense since the game has to consider the best match for your party rather than just for you. The plus is that you simply don't wind up in massacres, your group will generally be better than the collection of pubbies so you'll have more UAV, CUAV, etc and the other group will be better controlled. For me this normally works out such that I don't have awesome games in goon groups but I also don't have horrible games. More importantly, playing with goons is more fun.

It's visibly different only. For example, the XR FMJ variant I have makes the uh... casing around the barrel longer, and has different coloring. (I don't know gun terms.)
