I just picked it because it's the earliest example of heterosexuality in Jojo, but you could literally pick any chapter and you'll see that most characters are actually heterosexuals. Like, Dio is considered by many as the quintessential gay character in Jojo and he spends the best part of Phantom Blood around naked women.

Jojo is one of those things that is super-gay unintentionally, because the artist likes Italian fashion. He also likes manly man fighting manga, where there are lots of shots of ripped men getting into dramatic battles. So, combine those two flavors, it turns out you get something very strange and homoerotic, because it focuses a lot (A LOT) on how people are posed, what they are wearing, and how awesome their muscles look. Jojo's just old, is really what it is. It has a look, sentiment, and sensibility from the era of time it is from. So, a lot of the expectations of masculinity and femininity come from what Japan thought of those roles at the time. Most of the Jojo's themselves fit different versions of over-the-top masculine stereotypes, and they have lots of rules about protecting women/the weak/etc that come across seeming a bit quaint against today's media.
