It's similar to how people bitch about refs constantly. It doesn't matter if it was actually a correct call based on the rules - the refs are bad simply for throwing a flag against their team. When it's pointed out to them that the call was, in fact, completely correct, they resort to whining about how the refs just don't understand the "spirit of the rules" or some other such rot.

Games are not to be called fairly, they're to be called in their team's favor. Jokes are only appropriate when they're about someone else's team. Homerism knows no bounds.

Between the Tebow Treats comic (with extra long _flavor release!) and Brady casting Goodell into hell, Febreeze can insult the Pats all he wants now and still be great in my book.

He also did a thing that I can never find on his site of Joe Flacco being sad while evil Brady looms over him that's great if you're ~~a Pats fan~~ a human being.
