Force de Fappe posted:I've only shot the Eryx wire-guided missile, but if it's anything similar, poo poo gets harder when there's a great deal of target movement involved. Simulator work helps a ton. It's the same for the TOW since you can't just follow the target because you risk running out of cable, so you hafta lead the target well and do some math on the fly. I guess that's why most of the vids coming out of Syria have them popping stationary vehicles.

I know convoy duty sucks when you're on the "big" side, because hadji can place IEDs and poo poo on the route or even try to ambush you with mortars and RPGs, but it has to be an absolute death sentence when you're fighting against the side with FLIR, AC-130s, A-10s and JDAMS
