Seth is always good. That's why I love UYD so much even though I think Jonathan is a pretty sketchy guy.
About the Patreon thing, I posted a few pages back that I was disappointed in the decline in consistency since the donations started and everyone just told me to take a chill pill. I think that's all anyone is gonna say. The most we could do is to stop pledging, which I'm not gonna do just yet

Yeah pretty much. I mean, I just look at it as repaying for the past multiple years of content. It's totally reasonable to dip out if the worst case scenario (them no longer providing episodes) hits.

Some people assume a false correlation with quality and money. Like, humans just eat money to become better or something. It doesn't work like that.

I don't think disappointment is unreasonable. I've lowered my pledge - I signed up with the minimum expectation that episodes would be released consistently, and that expectation isn't being met.

Yeah cool they've always been a bit loose and Jonathan does his own thing, and I get that people like that and don't want them to change. But it was their words that said if $10k is met they'll be full time and able to release podcasts weekly and to a schedule.

I don't care what other people do, but for me I can't justify how much I was paying when it's been two weeks since a episode, and an episode with production issues at that. I'll still kick in some money, but only because I want to support them some for the years of content.

Why were you paying more than you could afford to not notice coming out of your account every month?

What are talking about? I didn't say I was paying more than I could afford?

I lowered my pledge because I don't feel like UYD are meeting the terms they established for their Patreon, that I expected when I pledged.

I guess I went in not expecting anything out of it because Johnathan wrote the entire thing. So I pledged 5 bucks and I'm not changing it because UYD has stayed exactly the same.

I hope they never change. Someone mentioned taking UYD to the 'next level' or whatever and I hope that doesn't happen.

So I actually got my replacement flash drive in today and it made it through unscathed. I emailed Jonathan to let him know it came in and he told me he just got back to the states. So hopefully we will get a new ep soon... It will probably be at least 2 weeks, though.

Ive been following it and they only lost ~300$ (not counting the weird recent dip). It's been pretty steady since it peaked. There's 181 $20 backers and iirc the peak was 195

Actually guys, Patreon are posting their numbers differently now. The total you used to see was pre-patreon fees, and pre-CC fees... that's a post-fee number. Everyone's patreon money 'dipped' this month. Not just the boys! So don't worry about that...
