Like, did the 35+ demo get left behind to die or some poo poo? Were nations only taking twenty-somethings, or did they have to bundle them in with the professionals? This is mildly interesting and worthy of comment! Is there any more detailed breakdown of the 18-59 group for the purposes of political arguments or is that information not available to us?

It's not too unbelievable that it happened like that, but it's also the opposite of a problem. If you look past the rhetoric, all that happened is that an official announcement had to change its wording twice. I work at a university. Everyx public announcement I make goes through at least four revisions, it's really not a big deal.
