I know he projects his own wish-fulfillment onto Zed, I just have a hard time believing that a shack-dwelling misanthropic loser like Muir bears more than a passing resemblance to Zed the manly sexhaver, and so presumed he's basically adding an idealized version of his own facial features onto someone much better looking.
