Lol MPD is so lovely that I can believe they shot a handcuffed guy. And if it turns out that they didn't, they're still horrible and need to be massively reformed and de-rear end in a top hat-ified. Why on earth would they hire a guy who previously had a huge settlement for false arrests to force someone to be an informant? The Huey P. Newton gun club does protests all the time. No one really cares because who wants to give black people with guns media attention? They marched, armed, through one of the largest street festivals in the US. Barely made the local news.

Also in Chicago police news, Rahm Emanuel came out and said that Dante Servin needs to be fired from the force. He did this today. Dante Servin, if people don't remember, is the mentally unhinged cop who fired wildly and blindly behind his head at a group of black people because they were being too loud (he claims he mistook a cell phone for a gun), killing Rekia Boyd in the process. The prosecutor charged him with a completely different crime and the judge was forced to let him off. The murder happened 3 and a half years ago in March of 2012.
