I watched the first episode of The Expanse. I think it might be good. Thinks I liked: Space cop UN Indian Grandma UN Indian Grandma torturing a belter Captain ignoring distress signal Captain being correct to ignore distress signal Little touches like cracked screen on space cop's phone and humidifier on space cop's space cop boss lady's desk Martians using nukes Thinks I did not like: whiney belters rugged white antihero bad cgi birds

I like Jessica Jones. It's not a huge variation on the generic pulp PI mystery story thing, but you know what? I loved those stories anyway. There isn't a single pulp mystery featuring a cop or PI good guy I haven't liked
